Let’s talk about send-offs! I was chatting yesterday with planner, @idoweddings.kenzie & bride, @kait_nicole69 about send-offs at The Ivey House! People always ask, “where do most couples do their send-offs?!”
Although we do have certain areas that make for magical send-offs, one area I never thought about was our pavilion deck! @courtney.widner & Daniel used it for their send-off in December and I love the way it looks in photos! ✨✨✨
Side note - a great photographer will help make your send-off look epic ☺️☺️☺️

Bring me all the decor!!!! Did you know that your rental includes use of all of our decor pieces?! From lanterns to vases to signs to greenery! Some may say I have a slight problem ….. but I choose to ignore those people! 😂 Seriously though, we LOVE saving our couples money by providing these items! And we’re always adding new items ….. I’m not going to pretend like I don’t LOVE all things Disney. I am a huge Disney fan, unashamedly 🤣 So when I met @rachelbatts_ & @d_batts93 and found out they were planning a Disney-themed wedding on 6/26 (think Stitch - experiment no. 626), I was BEYOND excited! Funny story, we met Rachel’s mom by chance while renewing our licenses days before our January 2020 WDW trip. We chatted about Ivey & weddings and she said her daughter was getting married. I gave her our card (the last one I had in my wallet!) and we left with me hoping they would contact us (which they did, and the rest is history!)
I kind of think it was a total God thing and I’m sooooo glad our paths crossed! We loved getting to know these two and their sweet families and we are so honored that they started their “happily ever after” at Ivey!
